The current leadership, namely, Sheila Schuller Coleman, Jim Coleman, Gretchen Schuller Penner and Jim Penner have been unable to inspire confidence in their leadership abilities as one can see from the result of the voting.

The previous Poll was open from Friday, June 17, 2011 to Thursday, October 6, 2011. There were a total of 961 votes cast between the above dates. The results of the vote are:

  44 of 961 (  4.6%) votes cast = Yes, I have complete confidence in the current leadership.

917 of 961 (94.4%) votes cast = No, I don’t have any confidence in the current leadership.

The Bankruptcy Court in conjunction with the Creditor's Committee have narrowed the field of bids to purchase the Crystal Cathedral to Chapman University or The Catholic Diocese of Orange County. Of those two offers, which do you favor?


The Results: There were 1,653 Total Votes Cast

1,214 Votes were cast in favor of Chapman University (73.4%)

439 Votes were cast in favor of the Catholic Diocese of Orange County (26.6%)


The margin is nearly 3 votes for Chapman University to 1 vote for the RCBO

1790 voters will not financially support the Ministry and/or Hour of Power in any Schuller is invited to return to the ministry as a guest preacher, pulpit guest, leadership role or employed in any position on staff. (73.2%)

1492 votes in favor of Dr. Lawrence Wilkes as Senior Pastor (86.4 %)

2110 votes in favor of viewing the Hour of Power as it was taped in church (87%)

The question was: The Hour of Power is video taped in a live Crystal Cathedral Church Service. The “offer” is taped separately and edited into the program as well as segments from previous programs. An example would be editing in Robert A. Schuller reading the Scripture from a previous service rather than showing the person reading the Scripture from the current service being taped.
